Most of the tricks in this module can be done right in-camera, with no Photoshop required. All you need is a DSLR camera. The basic universal settings of every camera: Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, and white-balance and how to master them for both day and night photography.

These are essential settings that every photographer must know how to use before starting.

How to take smoking hot photographs of fire and sparks! An in-depth tutorial on how you can use steel wool to capture amazing long exposures of sparks flying at high-speeds is also included. How to capture beautiful landscape nature photographs of lightning and star trails. This is the only trick in this module that requires Photoshop.

Advanced techniques: eBook on Trick Photography

How to take long exposure photographs during the day with the use of special filters. This allows you to blur any sort of movement over a long period of time. Waterfalls are a classic example, but this also applies to skies and trees moving in the wind.

Module 2: Trick Photography and Special Effects — This module goes over the mind-blowing special effects and optical illusion techniques that add drama and surreal creativity to your images.

It's the image that matters, not the what brand of camera it was taken with. Getting a camera that allows wireless remotes, cable releases, an external flash sync PC port, and a mirror lock up mode is the next step up from a entry level DSLR.

This wasn't something I needed when I was starting out, but as I progressed and got the hang of things, I demanded more image quality and extra features. Trick Photography and Special Effects - Lenses are more valuable than the camera body itself because the technology doesn't get outdated as frequently, they are a bigger factor in determining image quality, and they can be used with other DSLRs of the same brand.

That means that if you download a good lens today, you will be able to use it on different camera bodies of the same brand tomorrow.

You will most likely go through more cameras than you will lenses. I usually use the mm kit lens that originally came with the first DSLR. It is nothing fancy, just a basic lens.

How to Wow Your Friends with Creative Bubble Photography

The reason why I use it is that it is a good general purpose lens and the image quality is sharp. It is not over-the-top expensive but it isn't a piece of junk either.

One additional item I would also recommend is a high quality protective UV filter for your lens seen right beside the lens displayed above. This protects it from scratches and smudges. Tripods A tripod is essential to have when you are working with trick photography because many of the tricks require that the camera remain in the exact same location in 3D space when taking a series of photos.

Trick Photography and Special Effects eBook

I would highly recommend getting a tripod. I don't have anything fancy, just an old aluminum Sunset PR old and out of production. An old, heavy, bulky, clunky aluminum tripod downloadd at a thrift store is probably better than a cheap plastic one downloadd brand new at a camera store.

Or 'Multiplicity photography' where your subject appears in the same image multiple times. Trick Photography and Special Effects is a fascinating eBook by Evan Sharboneau, a young photographer who has developed an amazing talent for capturing just that. Truly unique images that you don't normally see.

Read my review below. Evan created the guide with both beginners and advanced photographers in mind. The beginning of the book reviews the basics that novices should learn — from camera bodies to apertures, and tripods to white balance.

It is not a comprehensive guide on the basics for beginners, but he covers just enough for beginners to be able to effectively use the concepts in the other sections. Most of the eBook is dedicated to the cool tricks and effects that people would want it for.

An eBook Like No Other!

Most of the content is focused on the tools and the techniques to create the effects that you see throughout the eBook Evan provides lots of examples for all the tricks. The book is broken into the following sections: Preliminaries: This section is built for beginners, and contains basic information on camera bodies, lenses, tripods, and Photoshop.

If you are relatively new to photography, this is a worthwhile section to read. Advanced users can skip it. He covers in detail how to use your camera settings, what types of light source you can use, and has numerous examples of what great light painting looks like. The final part of the chapter focuses on a host of other exposure based techniques such as motion blur, star trails, and other effects. We would love to publish an article by you if you are interested in writing for us.

Well, I'm offering you the chance to be able to take the pictures you really want, but at a fraction of that cost. All these tell stuff you should know to become a photographer who knows it all.

You can get assured of the course is for photographers for all skill sets. In our review, Trick Photography and Special Effects are one of the best, clear and inexpensive photography courses out on the market today.
